Tigress Bloom

The animal and the flower, on the same hand.

Tigress Bloom puts two things that should not agree on the same hand, and lets them. The tips are tiger — a stripe drawn wet into wet so the black bleeds a hair into the orange, the way fur does — and the beds are left almost bare, so the lilies sculpted at the cuticle have somewhere to sit. A graded line of gold runs where the two meet.

Each set of ten is composed as a single gesture across the hand:

  • The Wet Stripe — five tips · Black drawn into open orange, so the edge softens the way fur does
  • The Sculpted Lily — three tips · Petals turned one at a time, curled while soft and veined with a needle
  • The Gold Line — ten tips · Beads set one by one along the cuticle, graded largest to smallest

Sculpted from premium soft-gel resin — light on the nail, resilient at the edge — and finished with a triple-milled, high-gloss gel top coat cured in three passes for a lacquered, glass-like depth. Pigments and coatings are cruelty-free; metallic accents, leaf and ornament are applied entirely by hand and sealed beneath the final coat.

  • 10 hand-crafted tips, arranged by finger in a crystal presentation case
  • 10 sheets of jelly gel adhesive tabs
  • Manicure stick & nail file
  • 2 alcohol wipe pads
  • Instruction guide

The Story

Fur first,
then flower

A tiger stripe laid onto dry lacquer has a cut edge, and a cut edge reads as ink. So the black goes down while the orange is still open, and the two are allowed to meet for about a second before the tip is cured — long enough for the boundary to soften by a hair, not long enough for the black to travel. That single hair of bleed is the whole difference between a stripe and a drawing of one.

The lilies are turned petal by petal and curled while they are still soft, over the back of a needle, so each one falls open rather than standing up; the veins are drawn last with the same needle, which is why they run to the very tip of the petal instead of stopping short. The beds beneath them are left almost bare on purpose — a sculpted flower needs quiet around it or it becomes a pile — and the gold is set one bead at a time along the cuticle, graded from largest at the sidewall to smallest at the centre, so the eye is led toward the bloom rather than around it.

One hair of bleed is the whole difference.

The Composition

Stripe, petal,
and gold

Ten tips where the animal and the flower share a hand — a stripe that bleeds by a hair, lilies curled over a needle, and a graded line of gold between them.

i.

The Wet Stripe

Five tips

Black laid into orange while both are open and cured after a second — long enough to soften the edge, not long enough to travel.

ii.

The Bold Band

Two tips

The same stripe taken heavy, so one finger in ten carries the whole animal rather than a suggestion of it.

iii.

The Sculpted Lily

Three tips

Petals turned one at a time and curled over a needle so they fall open, then veined to the very tip.

With the brush-on adhesive and careful preparation, each application can last up to fourteen days. With fresh jelly gel tabs, each application typically lasts three to five days. After gentle removal, clean away any adhesive residue and return Tigress Bloom to its coffret — the set is designed to be worn again and again. The protective gel top coat helps preserve the hand-crafted finish between wears.

Each Tigress Bloom is made once, in a single size — there is no size to choose. Measure the widest point of your thumbnail in millimetres, then write to Client Care with that figure and we will confirm whether this set will sit flush before you order. Because exchanges require items to remain unused and in their original condition, please confirm before opening the set.

Yes. The soft-gel resin used for Tigress Bloom files beautifully. Shape the free edge with the nail file in one direction only, before application. We suggest leaving the cuticle edge untouched, as it is contoured to sit flush against the skin.

When applied and removed as directed, the tabs and glue used with Tigress Bloom should not damage your natural nails. Soak, ease from the side and never pry; careful application and gentle removal help protect the natural nail surface, wear after wear.

Because it should. Every Tigress Bloom set is crafted by hand by a single artisan — the drift of the pigment, the depth of the glaze and the placement of each crafted detail are unique to your coffret. The photographs show one interpretation; yours is another. This is the nature, and the point, of the work.

Tigress Bloom is carefully packed to arrive in pristine condition. Physical items may be exchanged within 30 days only when unused and in their original condition; gift cards are non-returnable.

The pigments and coatings used for Tigress Bloom are cruelty-free. For full material information, contact Client Care.
