The Bond

Jelly gel or glue —
choose your commitment

Sheets of jelly gel tabs come in every coffret; brush-on glue is the longer-wear option. The atelier recommendation is simple: begin with jelly gel tabs — the kindest bond your natural nails will ever meet.

Jelly Gel Tabs

Crystal-clear cushions of flexible gel adhesive — our first recommendation, and what our own artisans wear.

  • Gentlest on natural nails — designed to release with warm water, without scraping or forced removal
  • No drying time, no fumes, nothing to cure
  • 3–5 days of secure wear; ideal for events, weekends, rotation
  • Forgiving — mis-place a tip and simply lift and re-set it
  • Keeps tips pristine for repeat wear

Best for: first-timers, frequent switchers, protecting nail health.

Brush-On Glue

A fine cosmetic adhesive for when the occasion demands a fortnight.

  • Up to 14 days of continuous wear
  • One thin veil on nail and tip — less is more
  • Requires the full removal ritual: warm-water soak, ease from the side, never pry
  • May leave more adhesive residue than tabs, so careful removal and cleaning matter before the next wear

Best for: travel, honeymoons, long stretches between changes.

The atelier position

Why we say jelly first

A manicure should never cost you the health of the nail beneath it. Jelly gel bonds to the surface without fusing to it, and gentle removal helps protect the natural nail surface — which is the entire point of press-on couture.

Reach for glue when the calendar demands it; return to jelly between. Your nails, and your future self, will thank you.
