The Story
Snow, before
anyone walks in it
There is a particular hour after snowfall — before footprints, before traffic — when the world is sequinned and completely silent. Silver Snow is a portrait of that hour. The sequins are layered in three sizes so the sparkle recedes into depth the way a snowfield does, and the ground between them is a grey-white kept deliberately shy of pure.
The frost lace is drawn with the same mapping pen as our constellation work, but here the line must branch the way ice actually grows — six-fold, asymmetric, each arm thinning to nothing. The artisans keep reference crystals photographed on black wool for the purpose. The star shards, cut silver, are set last, angled so they catch the room’s light at different moments as the hand moves.
The best snow is the snow no one has used yet.
