Porcelain Reverie puts a sleeping face on two tips and gives the other eight the light that would be falling on her: a chrome that shifts from shell pink to green-grey depending on where the window is, pressed blossom drifting under clear, and a gold wire bent by hand into the loop a sleeve makes when it falls.

Each set of ten is composed as a single gesture across the hand:

  • Weather Chrome — four tips · A pigment burnished in until it reads pink and green-grey at once
  • Pressed Blossom — four tips · Real petals dried flat, cut with a scalpel and set at four depths
  • The Sleeping Face — two tips · Modelled solid rather than cast, lashes drawn in a single pass

Sculpted from premium soft-gel resin — light on the nail, resilient at the edge — and finished with a triple-milled, high-gloss gel top coat cured in three passes for a lacquered, glass-like depth. Pigments and coatings are cruelty-free; metallic accents, leaf and ornament are applied entirely by hand and sealed beneath the final coat.

  • 10 hand-crafted tips, arranged by finger in a crystal presentation case
  • 10 sheets of jelly gel adhesive tabs
  • Manicure stick & nail file
  • 2 alcohol wipe pads
  • Instruction guide

The Story

Light borrowed
from a window

The chrome on this set is not a colour, it is an argument between two of them. Over a warm ground it goes shell pink; over a cool one it goes green-grey; and because the ground beneath it is graded from cuticle to edge, the same tip does both at once and swaps them when you turn your hand. It has to be burnished rather than brushed — the pigment is rubbed in with a silicone tip until it stops being powder and becomes surface.

The faces are the slow part. Each is modelled solid instead of cast, which means the two on a set are sisters and not twins, and the closed lashes are one pass of a brush trimmed down to a few hairs. Around them the atelier scatters pressed blossom — dried flat for a fortnight, cut with a scalpel and drifted between clear layers so some petals sit near the surface and some sit deep. That is the whole trick of the set: everything is at a different depth, so the nail keeps rearranging itself as the light moves.

Sisters, never twins.

With the brush-on adhesive and careful preparation, each application can last up to fourteen days. With fresh jelly gel tabs, each application typically lasts three to five days. After gentle removal, clean away any adhesive residue and return Porcelain Reverie to its coffret — the set is designed to be worn again and again. The protective gel top coat helps preserve the hand-crafted finish between wears.

Each Porcelain Reverie is made once, in a single size — there is no size to choose. Measure the widest point of your thumbnail in millimetres, then write to Client Care with that figure and we will confirm whether this set will sit flush before you order. Because exchanges require items to remain unused and in their original condition, please confirm before opening the set.

Yes. The soft-gel resin used for Porcelain Reverie files beautifully. Shape the free edge with the nail file in one direction only, before application. We suggest leaving the cuticle edge untouched, as it is contoured to sit flush against the skin.

When applied and removed as directed, the tabs and glue used with Porcelain Reverie should not damage your natural nails. Soak, ease from the side and never pry; careful application and gentle removal help protect the natural nail surface, wear after wear.

Because it should. Every Porcelain Reverie set is crafted by hand by a single artisan — the drift of the pigment, the depth of the glaze and the placement of each crafted detail are unique to your coffret. The photographs show one interpretation; yours is another. This is the nature, and the point, of the work.

Porcelain Reverie is carefully packed to arrive in pristine condition. Physical items may be exchanged within 30 days only when unused and in their original condition; gift cards are non-returnable.
