The Story
One very good
chocolate
The reference was a single truffle from a Parisian chocolatier: cocoa-dusted, marbled inside, wrapped in gold foil that had been crumpled just enough to catch the shop light. Our artisans bought the box, photographed one piece, and ate the evidence.
The marble is drawn in warm cocoa over honey while both are wet, so the boundary blurs the way ganache does. The speckles are tapped from a loaded brush at a fixed height — tapped, never flicked, because a flick makes a comet and a tap makes a dot. The mirror nail is chromed last and buffed for four minutes; anything less and the reflection reads as metallic rather than mirrored.
Rich is easy. Rich and light is the difficult part.
