A night sky, drawn by hand. Cloudy Stardust floats ink-black constellations across milky porcelain — stars joined by hairlines, planets dotted in patient rows — then salts the sky with true silver glitter that catches like frost. Somewhere between an astronomer’s notebook and a child’s certainty that the sky can be owned.

Size — MSizing guide
Hand-crafted
in small batches
Cruelty-free
Designed to wear
again & again

Each set of ten is composed as a single gesture across the hand:

  • Ink Constellation — four tips · Stars joined freehand with a mapping pen in violet-black
  • Stardust Fleck — four tips · True silver glitter dropped from height and sealed where it landed
  • Cloud Porcelain — two tips · Milk-white tips with the soft opacity of morning fog

Sculpted from premium soft-gel resin — light on the nail, resilient at the edge — and finished with a triple-milled, high-gloss gel top coat cured in three passes for a lacquered, glass-like depth. Pigments and coatings are cruelty-free; metallic accents, leaf and ornament are applied entirely by hand and sealed beneath the final coat.

  • 10 hand-crafted tips, arranged by finger in a crystal presentation case
  • 10 sheets of jelly gel adhesive tabs
  • Manicure stick & nail file
  • 2 alcohol wipe pads
  • Instruction guide
Detail of the Cloudy Stardust set

The Story

A notebook
of night skies

The reference for this set is a real object: a 1930s astronomer’s field notebook found at a Paris bookstall, its charts drawn in violet-black ink on paper gone the colour of milk. Cloudy Stardust borrows its grammar entirely — the ruled lines, the joined stars, the small planetary dots made with the patience of someone recording rather than decorating.

Each constellation is inked freehand with a mapping pen adapted to gel, the lines pulled in one pass so they keep the slight waver of a human record. The silver is applied last: a pinch of stardust dropped from height so it lands as chance arranges it, then sealed. Every set therefore carries a sky that has never existed before and will not exist again.

The sky recorded by hand is warmer than the sky itself.

With the brush-on adhesive and careful preparation, each application can last up to fourteen days. With fresh jelly gel tabs, each application typically lasts three to five days. After gentle removal, clean away any adhesive residue and return Cloudy Stardust to its coffret — the set is designed to be worn again and again. The protective gel top coat helps preserve the hand-crafted finish between wears.

Measure the widest point of your thumbnail in millimetres — choose S for 8–15 mm, M for 10–17 mm, or L for 12–21 mm. Between two sizes, choose the smaller. The Sizing guide beside the size selector shows this as a chart. If your measurement falls outside these ranges, contact Client Care before ordering. Because exchanges require items to remain unused and in their original condition, please confirm your measurements before opening the set.

Yes. The soft-gel resin used for Cloudy Stardust files beautifully. Shape the free edge with the nail file in one direction only, before application. We suggest leaving the cuticle edge untouched, as it is contoured to sit flush against the skin.

When applied and removed as directed, the tabs and glue used with Cloudy Stardust should not damage your natural nails. Soak, ease from the side and never pry; careful application and gentle removal help protect the natural nail surface, wear after wear.

Because it should. Every Cloudy Stardust set is crafted by hand by a single artisan — the drift of the pigment, the depth of the glaze and the placement of each crafted detail are unique to your coffret. The photographs show one interpretation; yours is another. This is the nature, and the point, of the work.

Cloudy Stardust is carefully packed to arrive in pristine condition. Physical items may be exchanged within 30 days only when unused and in their original condition; gift cards are non-returnable.

The pigments and coatings used for Cloudy Stardust are cruelty-free. For full material information, contact Client Care.
